Assignment 1.2: Research Project Management Trends

To get a better understanding of trends in project management, go to the PMI^® website and choose an article to read that will increase your understanding of how project management is being used today.

Procedure

Visit the PMI^® Knowledge Center. (http://www.pmi.org/Knowledge-Center.aspx)
Locate and read an article pertaining to industry’s move to implementing project management. (You do not need to pay for an article. Look for links to free materials.) If you do not find something appropriate on the PMI site, use the JIU Library.
Write a 3 to 5 page paper discussing the relevance to your work environment (or anticipated environment).
