Analyze how the Civil Rights Movement contributed to the emergence of a “Rights Revolution” in the 1960s & 1970s. Briefly identify & explain the grievances of three (3) groups of Americans who began claiming their rights. Did the federal courts support the “Rights Revolution”? If so, in what ways (e.g. landmark court decisions)? How did the “Rights Revolution” of the 1960s & 1970s expand freedom in our society?
