The analysis can be on whatever piece of literature you choose, but it must be literary, “canonical” – a work that is generally considered to be superior by people in the field, i.e. English professors (not John Grisham, etc) and not merely informative – you must analyze the work. You have been answering questions on analyzing literature – these questions are designed to show you how to apply analysis to literature – and you can use any one of those questions as a basis for your research paper.

You must use at least TWO sources of literary criticism.
