Politics of identity refers to a political and analysis approach whose basis is the prioritization of relevant concerns associated with specific races, ethnic, religions, sexual, cultural, social forms of identity. The typical interest results in the parties forming political alliances with other groups rather than opting for more inclusive and broad types of politics. The people responsible for the promotion of group politics, in most cases, are only interested in the issues facing particular communities and disregard those of the rest occupants of similar territories.
