Abstract

The increase in population necessitates that there is an observation on the types of food that people eat. It means that there is an increase in the necessity to identify the threats to food and obesity and the application of measures that ensure that there is the minimization of the risks that people are likely to face. It is important that there is the observation of the climatic changes that ensure that population is fed healthy food as it is through this that there is the identification if the supply needs of the different foods and the technology used in the production of food. The use of various technologies in the production of food is known to contribute to increasing of cases of obesity as the focus is on the production of foods that will cater for the needs of the increased populations.

The increase in the levels of obesity in society is becoming a problem, as it is associated with different diseases and this means that there is a eed to come up with measures that help in the reduction of the risks that the society continues to face. The identification of the calorie levels of food is important, as it is through this that there is the elimination of the continued risks to the health of the individual. The consideration of the risks that obesity causes assists in coming up with the right measures that help in the creation of awareness on the need to maintain a healthy lifestyle. There is also focus on the need to avoid wastage of food and observing the trends on the importance of educating people on the preservation of food and reduction of cases of obesity.

Conclusion

With the increase in population in the world, there is increase in the levels of hunger, and this means that a large number of the population suffers from deficiencies in micronutrients. It creates the need to ensure that there is the maintenance of food security and that production of food in the economy is observed. The focus on the consumption of the food is important as it is through this that their estimation of the supply that is important in the economy and that helps in the estimation of the number of wastes and their need to eliminate the wastes (Van, 2012). There is an increase in the wastage of food in all categories of foods, and this brings a view of the co-existence of obesity with hunger as there is a lack of access to food that is nutritious. There is an increase in concern on the lack of access to vegetable and fruits, and this means that the foods that people eat are high in calories and this leads to increase in cases of obesity.

Obesity is seen to be one of the burdens in social interactions, and this means that there is need to create awareness on the challenges that people face. It leads to the reduction in life expectancy, and this creates the need to ensure that there is proper implementation of the measures of reduction of the malnourishment. It makes sure that the populations are aware of the need to reduce their risks through the elimination of wastes in foods and in increasing the commitment to eliminate the healthcare issues that continue to face the society (Reilly, 2005). It is through this that there is the creation of awareness on the issues that the community faces.

The reduction of the risks of obesity entails that there is the use of legislation and in this case, the creation of policies that help in the reduction of the cases of obesity. It leads to the reduction of the risks of chronic diseases as it is through this that there are control and prevention through the use of nutrition. The coordination of the different strategies means that there is focus on the dietary composition of the foods that people consume and the evidence that the foods help in the reduction of cases of obesity (Sweeting, 2008). The legislative actions taken include the education of the population on the risks of obesity and the changes that take place in the society. There is the identification of the impacts of the decisions made in the society and the terms helpful in the elimination of wastage of foods.

In addressing the malnutrition practices, there is also on the focus on the issues that affect the economy such as agriculture and the long-term review of the production of goods that meet the needs of the people. It means that there is the consideration of the nutrition aspects of the foods helping to bring impact on the reduction of waste and in the provision of foods that are nutritious. The embracing of the need to change the environment and ensure that there is a reduction in the levels of obesity is important as it is through this that there is the creation of partnerships and making food affordable to all (Sweeting, 2008). The focus shifts in making sure that the unhealthy food is viewed negatively as it is through this that there is the improvement in perception of the healthy food produced.

Different solutions are seen in the reduction of food wastage, and this includes understanding the effect that wastage of food has in the society, and through this, there is the analysis of the technology used in the production of food. The focus on spending less in the manufacture of food leads to the increase in wastage, and this means that it is important that there is focus on the safety of food as it is through this that there is the analysis of the issues that the consumers continue to face  (Sweeting, 2008). It helps in coming up with strategies that increase the operations of the community in focusing on the reduction of waste and improving the types of foods that people consume. The production of methane is grown in the use of greenhouses, and this means that the foods consumed are contaminated with the chemicals that affect the environment. It is important that there is focus on the contribution of the gasses in the global warming effects as this leads to increase in the cases of obesity, as the foods consumed are unhealthy.

There are different strategies used in the reduction of the levels of methane, as it is through this that there is the reduction of the effects that it has on the environment. The wastage of foods in many countries is focused on the production side of the goods, and this is where there is an increase in the level of the gasses produced by the economy (Sweeting, 2008). It means that the focus should be on the improvement of the information that the farmers receive as it is through this that there is concentration on the protection of the environment and in the reduction of the effects that it has on the environment.

The increase of workers in the fields means that there is focus on educating the farmers on the improvement of the methods that they use in the production of foods. The use of new technology means that there is the reduction in the number of wastes and that there is an improvement in the nutrition level of the foods. It increases the chance of a reduction in cases of obesity making sure that there is focus on the development of the economy. It is important that there is focus on the costs that wastage and obesity have on the economy, as it is through this that there is an improvement in the process of the foods to cater for the people that are unable to afford the nutritious foods.

For the people that are suffering from the cases of obesity, having food schedules is important as it helps in making aware of the calorie consumption levels and needs to observe the balanced diets. It ensures that there is the analysis of the importance of leading a healthy life as it is through this that there is an improvement in life expectancy level. The increase in the physical activities is also one of the methods of embracing healthy lifestyles as the focus is on maintaining a diet that is healthy. The knowledge of the farmers on the effects of the chemicals used in foods means that there is the assessment of the need to uphold the measures that focus on food security in the economy and at the same time meeting the needs of the people.
