According to Charles Darwin organisms were not created as they presently are. Rather, they have undergone changes over time to become what they are. In other words, organisms have evolved through a series of mutations to become the complex organisms that they are. The beliefs and theory of Charles Darwin were against many religious teachings and therefore changed the landscape of religious belief in several ways. One of the ways was that it might have intensified the debate about the existence of God as it challenged the creation theory.
