According to Charles Darwin organisms were not created as they presently are. Rather, they have undergone changes over time to become what they are. In other words, organisms have evolved through a series of mutations to become the complex organisms that they are. The beliefs and theory of Charles Darwin were against many religious teachings and therefore changed the landscape of religious belief in several ways.
