The European Moment is a period in world history spanning from around 1750 to early 1900s whereby the belief that civilization was centered in Europe was widespread across the globe. This period was mainly marked by the Atlantic Revolutions, the Industrial Revolution, and colonialism. This period is seen as being a crucial moment in the history of civilization as it brought with it major steps towards civilization and stability of governments across the world. Although the European Moment is directly related to activities of European countries, the effects of the same were felt across the globe. The European moment caused oppression and racial segregation but mostly provided benefits to the entire world through sparking the establishments of governments based on democracy and sparking the modernization brought by the industrial revolution…………
