Each and every organism has definite characteristics that make it perfect for living in a certain environment. For instance, owls are birds that are known for hunting at night. They have various adaptations that permit them to be victorious night hunters. One of the adaptations is the owl’s flight. Judging against other birds, the Owl has an extremely low wing loading (Nieuwenhuyse, Génot & Johnson, 2008). This means that the owl has large wings that give support to a body that is less in weight. Owing to this characteristic, the owl is able to fly incredibly slowly without hover and stalling in only the least lift (rising air). This slow flight offers the owl ample time to trace and pinpoint a prey on the ground, and the wing loading which is low, enables them to fly through the air very tenderly and hang around with less effort. The feathers of the owl are extremely soft that helps them fly with less noise………
