Seriousness is required when doing research because it provides enough information for a given product in the market. For this reason, research of a new product can not be compared with a research for re-launch product.  The main reason for this is because new product has many procedures because researchers have no idea relating to the product (Brown, & Ennew, 2012). They can take long period before completing their research because they many spent their time in different backgrounds trying to get enough information.
