Carlos Santana
Carlos Santana was born in Mexico on 20 July 1947 in the city of Autlán de Navarro. Jose, Carlos’ father, played the violin professionally and while he was still a child, Carlos learned to play the musical instrument. He then started to play the guitar and become passionate about it. Carlos’ family moved in 1955 to a city bordering California and Mexico, Tijuana, and began to perform in clubs (“Carlos Santana”, 2019). His inspiration included American artists of blues and rock and roll music such as Little Richard. His family moved again in the 1960s to San Francisco where he became an American citizen………………..
