Over the past years, the rate of poverty has been increasing in regards to the percentage of the poor living in worst conditions in most of the African countries. Notably, the African countries have been experiencing accelerated economic growth even though it has not been successful in reducing and eradicating poverty due to the existence of other contributing factors. Moreover, although the rate of poverty has degenerated in the African countries, the number of poor people has greatly increased because majority of the poor people in the regions live in rural areas with unproductive lands that cannot support sustainable agriculture. Therefore, the causes of poverty range from internal to external factors that explains the reasons for the predominating and escalating rate of poverty in the African societies………
