E-waste disposal in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has been a problem with the country having the highest amount of e-waste in the Gulf region. Since this research aims to understand the challenges experienced in the country regarding the disposal of e-waste, the research methodology applied in this research will be a case study. Case studies focus on a single case whereby the problem is spelled out and the analysis carried out. As an empirical method that focuses on the contemporary phenomenon in Saudi Arabia, the case study is going to focus on the government of Saudi Arabia and how it disposes of its waste. By focusing on this single entity in the country, it will be possible to understand the challenges that exist in the country and also present a chance for the creation of innovative strategies in conquering the problems that will be realized. The research methodology begins with an overview of challenges of waste disposal in general and then narrows down on the case study which lacks many sources on the issue.
