You are the nurse manager of a unit that will be receiving a new patient population. The primary disorders being newly admitted to your unit include alterations of the pancreas, alterations of the thyroid, and alterations of hypothalamic/pituitary systems. As the manager of the nursing unit, you have been tasked with creating fact sheets to enable your staff to identify endocrine system alterations in these patients.
