 The United States was concerned about the spread of communism to the west after the Fidel Castro who was backed by the Soviet managed to overthrow General Fulgencio Batista. The officials from the U.S state department and the central intelligence agency were committed to pushing Castro out of power. Castro’s regime was considered such a threat to the interest of the United States……………………
