Collaborative learning can be described as a situation whereby two or more persons attempt to learn or learn something such as a concept together. People engaging in collaborative learning usually use the skills of each to learn. This is achieved through asking each other questions, evaluating another person’s job and even monitoring the learning activities of group members. Collaborative learning is based on the belief that knowledge can be created and spread within the community.
