Spanish explorers had begun their trip to the new continent as early as the 15th century, with the voyage to America led by Columbus, they accidentally stepped on the land of “Pacific.” As the map of Pacific expanded, the ambition of expedition of the Spanish increased. Together with the Portuguese, the Spanish had successfully built several colonies by the end of 16th century. On the other hand, the British started their colonization at the beginning of 17th century. However, for the British, colonization was not mainly done for the purpose of the expedition; they intended to establish a settlement to release their first frontiers which were forced to escape the country due to the local religious persecution.
