Competitive advantage refers to a situation in which the company or business gets fit in reference to the competition experienced in the market. Competitive advantage can be attained through many ways which include, cost leadership and differentiation (Purkayastha & Sharma, 2016). The two may also be referred to as types of competitive advantage and are oppositely related. In the case where one type is being used then the other one must be excluded.
