Most military services are seeing an increase in single-parent members, dual military members, step-families, and absentee parent(s). Single and dual members with children are required to provide a childcare plan in case of being deployed. Childcare becomes a big issue and is expensive. What do you think the military should do with a member who is a single parent, and therefore cannot be deployed for a considerable length of time?
