In the research article by Lin, MacLennan, Hunt, & Cox, (2015), the authors sought to find out the effect of transformational leadership on the support that nurses had in their quality of work. Particularly, this research is labeled a quantitative study because it included the analysis of the number of nurses who were affected by the transformational leadership. In the cross-sectional study, nurses from private, public, and religious hospitals were recruited to the research and questionnaires distributed. Therefore, the researchers used questionnaires to collect data from the research participants and the collected data included demographics and weighted ranks of the participants’ experiences in their work. Therefore, the statistical analysis utilized was the analysis of variance (ANOVA) and the use of fit indices.
