Different nations come into being in different ways. For instance, it could be a cause of civil strife, military rebellions, and clashes between those trying to eradicate the old older and accept the new order to those opposed to the change or even some acts of heroism. In a way, America passed all these forms when it came to being an independent nation. It had been under the British crown, and they wanted freedom from it. Leaving under the rule of others while on your grounds is not exciting to all. In fact, in most nations, this leadership is what led most of them towards acquiring independence, and most nations had to fight for it.
