The right answer to these questions, who is a friend? What are the qualities of a true friend? and why are some people considered acquaintance and not a friend? is something that usually bothers me while growing up. The fact the most of the movies on television are filled with stories of acts of betrayal by people that are classified as friends to the other person, makes me ponder what the real answer to these questions apart from the formal definition of the words friend, friendship, true friends, and others formed from the word.
