Think about what you know about evolution and the mechanisms that may cause it and develop a scenario about how this adaptation (i.e. bipedality) might have been selected. What are the lines of support in favor of your proposed scenario? Are there any counter-arguments?
Hints: Hominins likely did not become fully bipedal “overnight”; this could have been a gradual process. How would natural selection have produced this adaptation?
