  1. After thoroughly reading your Professional Life Languages profile write a 4 or more pagesdouble-spaced paper—(size 12 font)—that provides answers to the questions below.

Your paper should be divided into four parts, each of which contains the following information. Type Part 1: or Part 2: etc, before beginning each part of this paper. In each Part, label your answers as (a), (b), (c), etc., to correlate with each specific question in each part.

Since your paper is already double spacedDo Not skip any extra lines when transitioning from one part to the next part of your paper. Simply move to the next line.

  1. After reading yourentire Life Languages Professional profile, provide answers to the following questions:

Part 1: Read the information in the Communications Styles chart, which is located at the top of page three of your Professional Life Languages profile.

(a) Briefly identify, in one or two horizontal (not vertical) lines, your Communication Preference by listing each of your Life Language names and the Language score—in descending order—from the Primary (1st) language all the way down to your (7th) language.

For example:

Primary: Mover–77.8, Second: Producer–62.4, Third: Shaper: 57.64 etc.

(b) What is your Range score?

(c) What is your Overall Intensity score, which can be found on the last line of the same Communication Styles chart? Is your score very high, high, medium, or low?

Part 2: After reading your entire Professional Life Languages Profile, describe in three or more sentences each what you learned about your unique set of Life Languages that will help you to more effectively communicate with and relate to others as (a) a student (b) a family member, (c) an employee, (d) a team member, and (e) a manager or leader?

Part 3: Your Communication Indicators(a) In three or more sentences per indicator, discuss what did you learned about yourself from reading the detailed information in your Life Language Profile that pertains to each of the following communication indicators? 1. Acceptance Level; 2. Interactive Style: 3. Internal Control; 4. Intrusion Level; 5. Projective Level; 6. Susceptibility to Stress; 7. Learning Preference. (b) How will knowledge of these Communication Indicators help you to better understand yourself and to manager others more effectively?

 

Part 4: (a) Discuss, in two paragraphs of five or more sentences per paragraph, what you learned about yourself after reading the information about the four Keys for Success for your top THREE Life Languages and your last (seventh) Life Language. Pay particular attention to the definition of each Key for Success, which can be found in the area that explains your Primary (first) Life Language. (b) In several sentences discuss what your thoughts are after reading the Career Information and the Fun Facts that relates to your Primary Language? In what ways can this information be helpful to you? (c) Of the seven Life Languages, which two Life Languages would you like to increase your communication in? Explain in several sentences why you selected each of the two Life Languages.
