As explained by Tisdale (2010), the life in ancient Rome is not very different from the contemporary life in the United States. In fact, the U.S. has often been referred as the “New Rome” because much of Americas architecture and government is inspired ancient Romans. As it was the case in ancient Rome, contemporary life in America is full of a wide range of people including soldiers and rulers. Many of these soldiers are skilled engineers who offer their services in different areas within and outside America.
