Measurement methods may be useful for your upcoming Independent Project

Please describe a time when you used one of the measurement methods from Chapter 5: Needs Assessment. It does not have to be an experience from a health planning project. For example, perhaps you conducted (or even participated) in a focus group on a non-health related topic. If you have no experience with any of the measurement methods, discuss which one may be useful for your upcoming Independent Project in this course.

In chapter five, we discussed some of the major measurement methods that are used in needs assessment. These measurement methods are applicable in a wide array of areas. A time when I had to use one of the discussed methods was when I was on a hiking trip with some of my colleagues. When planning the trip, there were differing opinions over some of the places that we should visit and how the planning for the trip was going to be undertaken. To bring about a consensus among all the people who were involved in the project, I decided to hold a public forum meeting with all the people who were interested in going for the trip.
