During the 1970s, there was a growth in the Second Wave Feminism. The movement started in the 1960s and lasted for more than two decades. During the time, there were many influences that the campaign had on society. One of the areas that were affected was the film and television industry. Producers and actors included some of the feminist ideologies that were cropping up at the time. A popular television show from the 1970s that reflected on some of the changing duties of women in America is the Mary Tyler Moore Show. The show is a sitcom that aired between 1970 and 1977.
