According to Graham (2003), blended learning refers to a hybrid teaching methodology incorporating both online and traditional face to face learning. Several elements of blended learning that can be identified from Graham’s work.To begin with, the primary element of blended learning is a comprehensive management system. This is important in creating an immersive learning environment (Grahams, 2003). Comprehensive learning management system serves as a central repository of information including course materials, assignments and web resources accessible for all students to use.

Another element of blended learning is a well- defined course outline. Right from the beginning, teachers should prepare a structured outline which guides students. Teachers should show the contents of the course, structures and the tools to be used for instructions. The framework of the course should show course resources, objectives of the course, details of the assignments and grading procedures.
