1. Incorporating the assumptions of one of the below learning theories (also feel free to research the online library, Internet etc for information on these two theories), make an argument either for or against the insanity defense, that is, should it be allowed and or abolished…and specifically why?

2.Do you believe that ecological approaches have a valid place in contemporary criminological thinking? Specifically…why or why not?

      Insanity is a condition whereby the brain is sick and one is mentally unstable. This could be through trauma are through a disease that lead to their mental instability. Insane people or mad usually engage in various acts that may be dangerous to others or even themselves, the reason as to why they get confined in the mental institutions (Fersch, 2005).

      There are many incidences where a person can engage in some acts that cause others harm or deny them peace……………………………………
