How online class participation will be graded: There are three (3) Discussion Questions, worth twenty-five points each, for a total of 75 points toward your final grade. Students are required to log in to the online classroom a minimum of twice for each Discussion Question.

The first login should be to complete the initial discussion question which should be between 250 and 300 words. The initial DQ MUST be posted at least seven (7) days before the due date. The two responses of other student’s posts do not have to meet the 250/300-word requirement but must be substantive. It is important that students be mindful of the due dates because these DQ assignments will not be assessable after the due dates established. I can remember several instances from my adolescence, where my parents seemed not to realize that I was no longer a child. These instances often led to a lot of misunderstandings and arguments due to one transitioning from a child to a teen during their adolescent years (Rathus, 2017). The instance from my adolescent years is when I brought my girlfriend home to meet my brothers and sisters. At the time, I had never introduced anyone at home as their girlfriend. The incidence led to a lot of conflict with my father, suggesting that I was not old enough to have a romantic relationship with anyone. My mother suggested that I was not old enough and did not have what it took to make decisions that need to be made when one is in such a relationship………………..
