One example of family involvement that truly involves parents as equal partners is a situation where the parents are very involved in deciding disciplinary action of their child. In such a case, the teachers do not decide on a disciplinary action without the notification and approval of the parents. The teachers will have an easy time dealing with indiscipline where the parents will be in a position to ensure that the disciplinary action is effective.
