Solving a Problem with I/D Research

For the presentation, you are an employee at a business and need to solve a problem dealing with work or your discipline.  You are asked to present a professional presentation to show to the company to help solve a problem.

Using slideshow software, you will present your research on a topic that solves a problem using interdisciplinary research.  Your presentation

• should only have about 4 words across and 4 down (the narration should expand on what’s on the slide)—this is called the 4×4 rule
• should use attributive tags for any information summarized or quoted from a source
• should be done in a professional and engaging manner

should include pictures/images

• should have a script either at the bottom of the slides or in MS Word form.

Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve is a department under the department of Defense and is recognized for the promotion of healthy and supportive working environments. There is a law that has been established under this department which is referred to as Uniformed Services Employment and Reemployment Rights Act of 1994. This law was established and signed by the then president, Bill Clinton in 1994. The law is meant for protecting the employment of military men and women in their non full time employment contracts with the civilian employers.
