The Wife of the Bath’s tale was written by Geoffrey Chaucer with a great emphasis on women and their role in the society. The tale though from the past still has good lessons that can be still applied in the cotemporary world. The tale involves a knight who sexually assaults a maiden, the King named Arthur gives the Knight a death sentence but the Queen intervenes and tells the knight to go find out what women sincerely wanted in exchange for his freedom.
