Attend a lecture, seminar, conference, presentation or community event with a global focus. The event must be approved beforehand by the Professor or Teaching Assistant. It can be held at FIU, other universities, or in the local community. Then write a Global Perspective Review of this activity. First, provide basic background on the event: the speakers or participants, title of the activity, date, time, location, and duration. 2) Follow this information with an analytical review of the event. The review itself needs to consist of 600-800 words (12 pt. font, Times New Roman & double-spaced). Analyze the presentation’s overall argument. What did he, she, or they argue about the topic? What other viewpoints were presented, if any, and by whom? 3) Conclude by providing your own views on the presentation. Do you agree or disagree, in part or in whole? Was the speaker persuasive? Why or why not?

In other words, describe the event, give details on what was argued or presented, explain opposing points of view to the presentation, then provide your own views on the subject.
