Temperament

Q1. This semester in LEAD 302, we are beginning to learn that while conflict may appear to be personal, it is actually the personality of the individual that may not harmonize with our temperament. Using Bruce Tuckman’s Team Development Model, in at least 250 words, declare your essential motivator pattern (i.e., temperament), explain why conflicts occur and what you will do in the future to reduce conflicts between yourself and individuals with essential motivator patterns that are different from yours.

Q2. Using the chart/table below (adapted from Page 37 of your workbook), BRIEFLY compare yourself with some person who has a DIFFERENT “home base” temperament than yours to explore ways in which you are different … and similar … and how you might appreciate and take advantage of those differences!

Q3. BEST JOB/WORST JOB (Green Workbook, Page 7) – jot down some notes in your workbook, then elaborate in the TABLE

Q4.  Read the 2 page descriptions of each of the 4 temperaments in your GREEN WORKBOOK, on pages 10-17.

Then – FOR EACH TEMPERAMENT, and in the TABLE BELOW – enter some notes about “WHAT FITS YOU” and identify/name some “PEOPLE YOU KNOW” (who might fit that temperament).
