The service programs offered across the branches of the Armed Forces are unique and similar as they intend to not only prevent but also investigate incidents of domestic violence for the military personnel. Specifically, the core concept of the framework for family advocacy programs is the prevention of family violence (Aronson, Caldwell, Perkins & Pasch, 2011). The armed forces are dedicated to preventing violence within the families through workshops, seminars and counseling services. Notably, the operational tempos of the servicemen are higher than before. Often, these families are victims of violence due to the elevated levels of stress associated with this type of work. The Family Advocacy Programs (FAP) has devoted significant resources to prevent the occurrence of violence amongst the servicemen families. Across the four branches, prevention is a common theme as the military commanders are interested in suppressing this form of violence. The main programs that support the prevention of violence include seminars, workshops, intervention and counseling services. Besides, members of the armed forces across the four branches are educated on family violence and different approaches to manage heightened stress levels (Aronson, Caldwell, Perkins & Pasch, 2011).
