Fallacies are flaws that are made in an argument when one makes a conclusion based on insufficient evidence or the wrong reasoning that renders the argument invalid. Individuals commonly state fallacies either knowingly or unknowingly. Politicians are very fond of making promises during political campaigns and directly attacking their opponents through fallacies meant to make them look appealing to the public. The premises usually have little connection or evidence, therefore rendering them invalid. In the speech, American rhetoric, the main speaker, Charles Kane makes several fallacies in his campaign speech. Some of the fallacies include Argument of Homien, appealing the crowd and post Hoc……
