Forensic psychology has its main focus on criminals and  least focuses on the crimes that are committed. The professionals who are in the field of forensic psychology have menacing responsibilities that are supposed to be taken seriously and with a lot of care. These responsibilities include the scientific investigation of crimes and the reason why certain types of people commit crimes and the preventive measures for committing of crimes. Since the job is wanting, the professionals have to have the right professional requirement in order to ensure that mistakes are not made where innocent people end up in jails. The critical role of forensic psychology therefore is to punish and help in the prevention of crimes.
