Factor Rating Assignment:

This week we examine how a business picks its location. The assignment is to use the FactorRating Model (found in Chapter 8 of the textbook) to determine which is the best of 3 potential locations for the next Hard Rock Café.

Assignment format:

I would recommend doing the Factor Rating Model in Excel. The final report should be in Word and contain:

• Introduction – what the paper is about
• Selection and weights of factors – why you picked these factors and how you determined the weights
• Results – copy your table in from Excel
• Recommendations – what location rated the best and why?

This paper is to be written in APA format.
