There are several differences between incidence and prevalence as it is explained in figure 3.2. Incidence is useful in describing the occurrence of new cases relating to certain disease like TB while prevalence finds out the main cause of the disease. Many problems related to TB on public health occur as a result of climate change. It is true that climate changes with time and it can cause some diseases. This is the reason why someone has to go for sputum check up after he or she is infected with TB (Schneider, 2011).
