Various toxic situations affect the effectiveness of teamwork, and they include blame whereby one tends to point the finger at other individuals when something is wrong. It is one of the most common toxic situations that impact teamwork. Common blaming usually starts with “you are,” and this can be expressed harshly or aggressively. Defensiveness is another factor that influences cooperation. It is just another way of blaming the other, and the defensive person does not acknowledge own misbehaviors or errors. Contempt is another toxic situation, and it is known to be the most dangerous situation. It is primarily hostile humor, sarcastic or disrespected tone that undermines the authority of another person.  Stone-walling is a toxic situation that that cuts the relationship of many. These situations can be resolved through educating people on how they should relate to each other (Gerow, 2016). For instance, such conditions come due to lack of useful communication skills as one cannot agree or efficiently disagree…………
