A federal grand jury indicted a thirty-three-year-old medical officer in St. Louis, Jaime Lynn Slade, for engaging in a health care fraud with Dr. Antoine Adem, her former employer and Midwest Cardiovascular(“Health Care Fraud News — FBI”, 2019). The court documents indicate that doctor Adem and Midwest Cardiovascular caused the submission of several fraudulent as well as false claims to Medicaid and Medicare between January 2014 and December 2018. In August 2019, the doctor and Midwest Cardiovascular pled guilty, and the sentencing will be in December 2019……………
