Your Topic: Discussion: Reflection and Action: The Scholar-Practitioner and Social Change
Assignment Details:
One of the goals of Walden University is to graduate students who are “scholarly, reflective practitioners and agents of positive social change” (Walden University, 2010). Being a scholar-practitioner is more than a professional concept—it is a lifestyle in which your practice and your scholarly endeavors become seamless. Bringing these two worlds together produces a rich synergy: using knowledge to produce change. Their interaction joins two seemingly separate processes so that your work has greater context because it is more informed by research, and your research has greater relevance because it is more informed by the real world you encounter.

For this Discussion, you will reflect upon how your doctoral study concept as reflected in your Doctoral Study Premise and a Draft Doctoral Study Prospectus has evolved since the start of this program and this course.
