Pedestrians can often create unnecessary traffic in the city. Additionally, they are likely to cause accidents in the event that their movement is not controlled. In this project, the involvement of the stakeholders will be necessary. They will act as partners to the project rather than the roadblocks. Consequently, their contribution to the project will be vital as they may determine the success or failure of the project. The primary stakeholders for this project include the governmental and non-governmental organizations, individuals, and groups of people who may have some interest in the management of pedestrian movement in the streets (Newcombe, 2003).  The project will involve the establishment the measures, devices, and rules regarding the crossing of roads by the pedestrians. Consequently, some of the routine activities in the city will be changed. For the project to be successful, it will require the use of technological devices as well as individuals in different parts of the city.
