Infectious Diseases

Each region of the world has its own ideas of the diseases that should receive more focus than others. For those in North America and Europe, it might be cardiovascular or obesity-related diseases. However, in developing countries it is diseases caused by their very interaction with others and the environment. We know them as infectious diseases and would certainly prefer they stay in other countries. We can’t, however; ignore their problems because of being oceans apart. Due to increased global travel, an epidemic in Africa could very quickly impact those in Europe or the Americas.
