What experiences have you had with system changes either in the university setting or work environment? Was your opinion collected before the implementation, such as during the requirements gathering phase? Explain, in your own words, why it might not be helpful to add more team members to a project that is already behind schedule. Have you ever experienced something similar? IBM is planning to incorporate patient data from wearers of Apple’s new watch. Ask students to read http://www.cio.com/article/2909593/ibms-watson-health-division-will-incorporate-patient-data-from-apple.html and answer the following:

(1) What will IBM do with that data? That is, what are the benefits of the data?

(2) Can you see any drawbacks of allowing Watson to process the data?

(3) What connections to other companies are there in this project? Why can’t Watson do it all “him”self?

In organizations, various systems may change, which results in total changes in operations. In most cases, these changes are implemented after the management have analyzed all the options at hand. Apparently, the employees are given an opportunity to give their opinions before the final decision is made. For instance, in my place of work, there was a transformational change in technology from the use of desktops in the office to the tablets. In this change, the management involved the employees, and my opinion was collected before the implementation……….
