The documentary covers a timeline of events that led to the establishment of Christianity as a religion. Therefore, archaeologists and historians explain various interpretations of the life and walk of Jesus as a spiritual symbol from humble beginnings to the time he fulfills the prophecies that were told by significant individuals about the Messiah who would proclaim God’s kingdom and persuade people to be part of it (PBS). The documentary traces the first followers of Jesus from the time he began his ministry and teachings to the first twelve disciples to the time after his death when apostles such as Paul and Peter took over to keep the Christian faith throughout the Roman and Greek empires.
