In the past few decades, many activities took place in Native America to help address a wide range of issues. An example of these activities was the policy to remove Native American children from their homes and place them in residential schools. According to Trafzer (2006), this historical policy was justified because it made it easier for the government to extend academic, agricultural, domestic, and vocational education to the Native American children
