Juvenile Offenders

According to Cole & Smith (2007), juvenile offender refers to an individual aged below 18 years who gets involved in criminal acts. Although the law defines a line between adult and juvenile offenders, there has been significant court changes aimed at meeting the needs of juvenile offenders. In the early U.S. history, the law was influenced by the England common law that was used to govern American colonies.
