Can anyone comment on the post below.

  1. Clark, Yes I must say I do agree with the law of giving the ring back. Why? Because they did not get marry. And I feel like an engagement ring is not a gift it is a symbolic symbol to a marriage. And the person that I am I would not to keep anything from an old relationship. Lock that door and never look back.
  2. Shannon, This is a good response! Remember that, if the marriage does not occur by the mutual agreement of the parties, it is well settled in law that the engagement ring should be returned to the donor. If the marriage does not occur through the fault of the donee, the ring would also be returned to the donor. However, if the donor is at fault for the failure of the marriage to occur, there is a split of authority regarding who would retain the ring. How would you rule in such a situation?

  1. Do you think the juvenile justice system should be abolished?

Why or why not?

Juvenile System is a court that was established for the teenagers with below 18 years. This system is based on the principle of “parens patriae” where the state has the responsibility of passing law designed to safeguard and care for the “below 18” within their jurisdiction. Their goals is to ensure these children do not commit further crimes, rehabilitate them, and restoring them to normal community
