After completing the first Discussion Board, you have a good idea about what secondary sources are and how they can help in your research. Another secondary source that can be very helpful to you is a law review article. Law review articles are generally published by law professors or legal scholars.

Please use Westlaw to locate a law review article on the same topic you used in the first Discussion for this week. For example, if your topic was adoption, locate a law review on adoption. Give your classmates a brief synopsis of the article, and describe at least one thing that you learned from the article. Supply the full Bluebook citation at the end of your post.

In the circumstances of making the right decision about adoption, considerations on Michigan Court of Appeals are made to ascertain the basis of the adoption and whether the act is legal. The review is done on the other jurisdictions according to the law-review commentaries.
