Another secondary source that can be very helpful to you is a law review article. Law review articles are generally published by law professors or legal scholars.

In the circumstances of making the right decision about adoption, considerations on Michigan Court of Appeals are made to ascertain the basis of the adoption and whether the act is legal. The review is done on the other jurisdictions according to the law-review commentaries.
